As an authorized representative of HFS Asset Management Ltd, Melanie is licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong (CE. No. ABZ225) to provide investment advice and discretionary portfolio management services.
For over three decades, Melanie has assisted Hong Kong-based Australians to synchronise their Australian and offshore financial affairs for an eventual return to Australia.
Melanie is a Certified Financial Planner TM (Australia), she has a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and is a graduate in Law from Auckland University. Melanie is also a member of the Financial Advisors Association Australia.
At Home...
A keen hiker, Melanie began mountain climbing in 2010 and includes Mt Kilimanjaro and Mont Blanc amongst her snow and ice summits. In Autumn-Winter 2020-21, Melanie relished completing the HK Peak Master Challenge of 262 peaks throughout Hong Kong’s network of fabulous islands and still holds the record for the fastest round of Peak Master’s HK Leaderboard II of 137 peaks in 85 days. A single peak, Mt Fuji, is among her challenges for 2025.
