Horwath Financial Services was purchased by the Professional Investment Services Ltd Group of Companies (PIS Group) in 2006. Professional Investment Services was founded in 1996 with its Australian-based flagship company, Professional Investment Services. The company was established by a group of five financial Advisors and seven accountants who were determined to maintain independence and objectivity in the financial services arena.
Professional Investment Services has since grown to become the largest financial planning company in Australia. The Group operations expand to New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and North America. As at July 2008 the company has in excess of Billion of funds under advice globally.
